LOL - I think you will find it much, much easier to keep up. Just be sure to strain it first.

whydo i need to strain it

To be sure that the larger pebbles\stones are removed. Most times it looks quite fine in the bag & even when you first put it in the enclosure. After a while from walking & such on it, it seems like the larger ones come to the top as the finer sand goes to the bottom.
