    Bugs for Bearded Dragon?

I would not decrease the roach chow I make, only the oranges. Oranges seem to get them really in the mood along with the heat. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Bugs for Bearded Dragon?

Dubia are easy. Don't smell and you can handle them. Very clean and the don't climb smooth surfaces. A lot easier than anything else. Very hardy bug. Give them heat, water crystals, roach chow I make myself in blender and oranges and they are breeding monsters. I only check on them 2 times per...

    Bugs for Bearded Dragon?

It is not a problem if some escape unless it is warmer than 80 24/7 in the house. They will not reproduce below 80. They need warmth. I tested this in a small container with 3 males and 12 females from my large colony. I just left them alone with plenty of food, oranges and water with my house...

    Eggs???

After 6 months the numbers start to go up quick. All those little nymphs in the beginning start to produce and then go up. I might have to run some numbers and then post with some assumptions learned.

    Eggs???

If you have 50 it will take them a while to eat an orange. I would quarter an orange and put in just one quarter to really guide how much they eat. It may take them awhile in a large incluse for all of the too find it. Get a red heat bulb for the heat lamp. Again I wouldn't even fiddle with it...

    Stacked vivarium

Go to an aquarium store. Those stands hold large volume of water that would weigh more.

    Eggs???

When you do it enough you know how fast they go through food. I can go 3-4 days on an orange and a week without more chow. Size of the colony will dictate how often. If you only have 50 or so starting out you can go a week to replace veggies and fruit along with chow and water crystals. If most...

    Eggs???

I only check every other day at the earliest. The less you disturb them the better. I add water crystals, chow and an orange. Take out a y peeling and done for a few days.

    Eggs???

I will add that my temp probe is sunctioned above the egg crates. I originally put it about half way down in the egg crates but discovered a dubia on top of the bin once. Realized it had crawled up the wire and the lid where the wire came out had a small crack. The temp probe above the egg...

    Eggs???

A couple of additional tips I use when breeding dubia. 1. I use flat pieces of heavy paper which is basically take new empty file folders and just split them so they are in one flat piece and place them between the egg crates. Manilla folders are cheap and sturdy. This keeps the egg crates...

    Baby Dragon Hasn't Pooped!

If he is hungry he will eat dubia. Wait him out. Don't give him anything else until he eats the dubia. You are the one in control. He won't die if it takes a few days. In the wild they may go a week without food.

    T5 bulb expiry

It will be fine. Depending on manufacturer will determine when to replace.
