I need help with lighting asap, PLEASE!

Just a quick question.... why don't people run more mvb? Then you get heat and uvb. Sorry to hijack. Our dragon seems more active and colorful since we switched to uvb.

    Tank size

Great find for an adult. I with I got one. If u want you can cut a piece of cardboard and portion off 1/3 and keep him in the larger size. Otherwise he might have a hard time catching roaches or crix.

Our girl is on tile. Got two pieces from Lowe's cut for under 20 bucks and they last forever. I do take them out and bleach them once a month. And sometimes if her poop is runny it can go under the tile and stink. Just a little extra work to clean but overall better than sand. I have had both...

    Play things...

I had better luck with a red bouncy ball or super ball. She pushed it around a lot more.

Yes. It can make the tank too hot if there aren't drapes or blinds. The dragon will not get any benefit from the sunlight as far as uvb goes. The gass filters it out. Keep it out of direct sunlight. Maybe on an wall near but not in direct sunlight.

Yep. Or make it easy on yourself and get a 40 breeder and mvb 100 watt. They will get the uvb and proper heat. Works well for me. This is my setup. the one on the left is just a 30 watt for additional heat.

    Dubia roach feeding

I mix fish food and dog food and blend it up in one of those bullet blenders. It shreds it up to a fine dust and then I just dump it in the bottom of my dubia tub. They don't need it in a nice dish they are roaches and they don't care. 2 cups of blended food last about a week. But I have...

    Started my dubia colony.

They are in a sterilite 66qt tub with a 40watt red heat bulb and water crystals for humidity. Feeding them blended dog food, greens, oats and fish food.

Ok well now I have roaches coming out of my ears and my bd doesn't seem to have much interest in the dubia. she has eaten 3 but that's it. I have 5 loose in her tank now and she hasn't touched them in 2 days. What gives? Is there a trick in switching from Crix to dubia?
