    I would not advise on the swimming of your Beardie. Knew someone who lost one to drowning.

    Hello, yes it is and you will find them in all sort of different positions. They all develop there sleep patterns just like we do. Enjoy.

    Yes they will be. It really is amazing how they do it. Just get light timers and set them to come on at the same time everyday and off at the same time off everynite. I set mine for 7:30am on and 7:30 pm off.

    You can get a heat emitter but it is not really needed. They regulate there body temperature during the nite when lights off. They are good in there habitat even down to 55 degrees. They do it in the wild and I have had no problems at all here in Michigan.

    No lights at all at nite. They need total darkness for at least 12 hours. That's why we say with the lights 12 hrs on and 12 hrs off.

    Hello, another thing to try is feeding from the side of him. They really don't like anything coming over the top of them, since they have that 3rd eye up there for predators. Hope this helps you it did with mine and he is 10 months old now and always takes his treats out of my hand. Good Luck.

    I second that with Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, Turnup Greens another good one to add. Fresh Green beans and you could try dandelion greens to. Mine loves those and Zach my Beardie also loves his dubias.
