    Any chance you could actually have a Lawson dragon? They only get to about 10-12 inches or so... I don't know all the ins and outs of the differences but I feel it could be possible.

    From all that I've read, spinach requires calcium to metabolize. So in the body, spinach steals calcium from the dragon and causing MBD. Personally I've never fed it. Although tasty for people, bad for dragons. If anybody else knows anything else, or this is wildly off, feel free to correct me.

    how do I get my baby to eat

    If he's eating mealworms, put them on top of/in a finely chopped salad. While he's going after the worms he'll inevitably get hold of something green - babies are pretty clumsy when they eat. Eventually he'll come around to eating salad by itself.
