    Brumation?

I also have questions about Brumation, I have thought for about a week now that my baby beardie is dieing because he has done nothing but sleep sleep sleep. I got him in Late August and he was only about 3 days old. Is it possible that hes Brumating at such a young age? Worried :/ If so what do...

Tell me what you guys think.

Depends on the type of tile tho, slate and other natural tiles actually retain heat the same way that rocks would in the desert. They can also be a great way to keep nails trim. Tiles that are coated and have a glossy finish will stay pretty cool to the touch. Undertank heaters and heat rocks...

New dragons, is there something wrong?

They may be stressed because they are in the same tank. Your setup sounds fine for a juvi dragon but they will need larger, separate tanks pretty soon. If you are already feeding in a separate tank I would try feeding one at a time. Leave the greens in the main tank so they have access to them...

hmm baby draco isnt digging the new location..

I would let him be for 2-3 days until he calms down. Put a shirt or something you have worn/slept with in there so he stays familiar with your scent. You can take him out at hing while he's sleeping to help with bonding but put him back in the same spot. Keep feeding him as usual and I'm pretty...

    Climbing Furnature

Styrofoam can be flammable if it is in direct contact with a heat source, so be careful about where you put lighting. I just finished Igor's fake rock viv and used styrofoam to shape the rock, coated it with a couple of layers of grout and then sealed the whole thing. You can use Modge Podge...

where my baby is sleeping questions....

When I get home at night I always wait for the lights to click off and then wrap then wrap the beardies up in their blankies. They cover their noses so that they can't see the lights. Then I put them somewhere comfy for awhile while I vacuum their tanks. Make sure you stick the vacuum into any...

    distinguishing morphs from reg's

The markings on his head look like scar tissue to me, possibly was in a fight with another dragon? Guy on top looks like my Igor, he's rather light in color. I was told Igor is chris allen red x sandfire. Dunno how much I believe that. Bottom guy definatly looks like he has some sandfire in him...

How to turn a dresser into a tank....? HELP!

If you buy something with a drawer on top you could cut out the bottom of the drawer and use metal screening from the home improvement store to cover the hole. This makes a great place for the lights and you can't see the actual fixtures from the outside ;)

    distinguishing morphs from reg's

Pics would be helpful. A couple of morphs have distinguishing characteristics. Translucent has black beady eyes and looks almost see through, hypo has clear nails, leucistic will be very light in color. There are also a lot of catchy names that breeders give to them to help with sales. But...

If I lose power tomorrow should I hold off feeding baby beardie as we'll have no light?

Veggies will last a couple days without being refrigerated, depending on what it is. Also you can use hand warmers or hot water bottles wrapped in a blanket or towel. Doesn't provide light but it provides enough warmth for them to digest a meal. ;)
