Hey everyone, I’ve had my bearded dragon for about 4 years now. Normally he begins brumation around fall time and through the winter, but the past few weeks he’s been hiding in his cave, asleep, and not eating much. Its end of July (mind you it’s been happening since beginning/middle of july)...
Let it get use to his/ her enclosure for a few days/a week. Do not stress them out by handling them. Make sure it has a hiding place and of course fresh food/water. Give lots of attention once it gets use to his surroundings!
Hey everyone, I’ve had my bearded dragon for about 4 years now. He usually goes into burmation in the fall, but the past couple of weeks he’s been sleeping all day and night and not eating. It’s July, is it too early for him to be brumating?? Or should I be concerned? I’ve tried getting him out...
I’m not sure which
i have 2 lamps. They’ve both been replaced within the last year (the bulbs) it’s currently 94.2° in his tank and has a heat pad on the outside and his rock house sits next to it on the inside.
Hey all! My bearded is about 4 years old and has started to hide and sleep in his Little Rock house. I don’t remember what times he usually burmates. I got him out by waking him up and using crickets. He seems okay, but is end of July too early to start burmating? I don’t think he’s sick.
My bearded dragon is in burmation right now (or however you spell it…) I know I should keep the heat one but do I also keep the light on too? Or do I turn it off and just keep the heat on??
my bearded dragon is about a year old, his name is Zeus. After shedding his beard, he had a little bit of orange on some scales. Then when I got him back from my grandparents house after going on vacation he had more all over his beard. I’m confused. What’s happening? Sorry for the bad photos...
Put colored paper around the sides of the cage or buy reptile wallpaper for the cage it will help. And they will grow out of it. Get him out when he wants out and make sure there is no food in sight for him to want to get at it. Good luck!!
If she keeps doing that for the next week she is problaby going through brumation. Give her warm baths and let her sleep when she wants. I wouldn’t worry about it to much unless she acts weird
It’s weird. It’s not yellow or orange it’s just bright red. I have a big orange reddish rock but he doesn’t really go on it and it’s not the same color
My 7 month old beardie Zeus has had what looks like red paint stained into his foot for a while now. I don’t think it’s blood but I don’t think it is paint either. I’m confused. After I finished giving him a bath today I noticed he had bright red marks on the bottom of his tail. I don’t know...
