So when I get him out he usually hangs out on my shirt and then in a few minutes BOOM..off to the races lol
He is very active and seems to hate to go back into his cage..is this normal? Can I handle him too much?
Oh..dang his nails are sharp..how can I get him to relax enough to trim them?
Yea I have greens in there all the time (til next feeding time). I bought 5 cockroaches today but I should have bought more. He ate 5 medium roaches real fast. Is this a time when I feed as much as he can eat in a certain time?
So here is Ophion. He is my Burmese Python. He is about 7 months old and almost 5 feet long. He is as docile as my beardie....but doesnt seem to like to cuddle ;)
yea I figured I should give him some alone time. I will clean and disinfect his cage this weekend. get rid of the sand and make sure I sanatize everything. I will probably use the fake turf or just paper towels
ok great. I went and bought collard greens and arugula today for his greens and will feed him live this weekend. He seems to feel at home which makes me feel good
I have read a few different care sheets with just as many answers. I have a brand new Beardie, im a new owner as well. I have read to feed him greens everyday and live food (crickets, roaches) with greens every other day. What do most people here do. The owner I rescued him from believes he...
Ok I plan on grabbing him some crickets later today. One more question. He is very active, cruising around the cage and scratching at the glass. Is this a good sign? Should I get him out and handle him more?
OK. I was thinking of putting the green "turf" in there once I do a full clean next week. What is a good temp to have? I thought a care sheet said around 95 for adults. The setup came with a 150 watt basking bulb. I was thinking of switching to a 150 watt cerramic bulb like I have for my burm...
Should I leave his lettuce in the cage all night? I fed him some meal worms today but he only at 3-4 then walked away and no longer interested.
I have never owned a beardie so im trying to get into a feeding schedule with him so he can eat properly
thanks
Oh I see some people feed them...
She said "his" name is spike and thinks hes about 5 yrs old. He is in a 40 gallon with a screen lid sand. a water dish, feed dish and a little mountain. He spent lots of time on the mountain because thats where the heat is and now is sleeping in his little cave
