    after she gets settled i would go ahead a plan a vet trip for a check and fecal float. if she's never been treated, that could also explain her condition. at some point they HAVE to be treated. GOOD LUCK! and let us know if you need help finding an exotic vet in your area.

    good! it'll probably just take some time. its a little tricky but you could get some critical care, wet your worms, and then roll the worms in the critical care (it's banana flavored). that would add i little fiber in place of the greens to her diet. just a thought.

    poop samples are recommended a minimum of once a year as most of the parasites they get come from the live food they eat. if in doubt its never a bad idea. im glad she is doing well!

    is she eating live on her own ok? hornworms are great for putting weight back on. also be sure to keep her hydrated to keep things moving properly.

    welcome to the wonderful world of dragons. i have had a vacation in eight years because of mine. i never trusted anyone. I've just recently found a vet tech at my exotic vets office thats willing to do it for the extra money. try finding an exotic vet in your area and maybe you'll get lucky too.

    some dragons just dont eat many greens but keep trying. try adding some fruit. most of my dragons are rescues and if one has not been properly cared for, chances are they've never had greens and it will take awhile. if her weight is good you might do the greens and fruit every day and live food...

    Dragon doing weird tail movement!

    when dragons come in contact with uvb light and start to warm up, they do all kinds of weird things. mine also throw their tails up and they curve kinda like a pit bulls tail. its their way of saying "look at me, im ready" reminds me of a peacock showing off.

    if i may, dragons need more of a footpath than that allows. most proper uvb is measured between 12 and 15 inches and a properly sized tank with proper lights will "self" regulate a cool side. in my opinion that tank is too tall for the dragon to get any uvb unless he climbs high and as dragons...

    where i get them you can get as little as 500 at a time. its cheaper than 11 cents each t the pet store.
