Our fav tradition is every year I take my 2 boys to buy their Christmas ornament for that year. They put it on their own tree we keep year round in their bedroom. The holidays are filled with family and spending time together. That's the best!
I think I would take the cork out. I had to remove Emily's reflection on 1 side of the tank. It made her go crazy seeing her reflection. I used fish tank scenery "paper". Maybe you could tape that on the inside of the tank for you little guy?
I don't know if this will help. It sounds like your beardie may need cuddle/reptile ru. Around put of tank time. Our Emily gets depressed if we don't hold her enough amd she needs cuddle time every day.
Every morning 7-7:30 I have to hold her and try to give her water. I just wash my hands...
When we bring Emily out she is always on us. We put her on the bed or floor to do reptile runs (on the carpet only after she goes to the bathroom). Our bearded dragon prefers to be on or with us more than alone. We hold her as much as we can. She cuddles, gives hugs, and communicates well.
So...
This happened to us when we first got Emily. Long story short she had a parasite and needed rx and rx food. That was hard but we did it (humanely... I did not force her mouth open but we worked together and it took time to do this) and finally she got better.
I'd recommend getting her stools...
How stressful!
Our bearded dragon is super picky! Her constant and main food is the gel food and live meal worms.
Initially she would eat 10-20 crickets only if we took the back legs off or squished the head with tweezers. Amd we had to put it next to her.
I put her gel food out in the morning...
I don't know if this will help but here's what we do.
We hold our bearded dragon a ton (any time we can). When she wants to run aroumd we let her on the bed or floor.
By petting her down her back and tail (I wrap my fingers around her tail and per her whole tail) ... by hour 2 she is ready to...
