    Wondering about water

They get a lot of the moisture they need for their food. I just drip water on their noses when I bathe them. I don't put any water in the enclosure since this could raise the humidity level and you don't want that. I agree a nice plump, beardie is a happy one :)

    Amons losing his buddy

At Walmart they sell temperature/ humidity gauges they are wired with probes on the end they are like !10 put it on the basking spot or a temp gun is even better. There is no way a 100 watt is only getting the spot to 75 I only use a 65 watt and I get my spot to 110. The temp needs to be...

Tell she it is not good to have a water dish in the enclosure it will raise the humidity I bet warm water would raise it even more. I am surprised even with 100 the temp is not high enough. How is she taking the temp?

    new beardie being stubborn

Do you know if the person before used a coil bulb. I had a baby who went two weeks when he first came and barely ate he lost a lot of weight I was so worried. Then all of a sudden he started eating like a little pig. Sometimes some dragons take longer to adjust. How old is yours. Are his eyes...

    Lighting

I would get a reptisun 10.0 t5 or t8. Yes if your male can see or sense your female he is going to Blackbeard and go crazy. I would put something in between the enclosures so he can't see her that might calm him down.

Hello, i'm new here and i have a few questions

I think even of this is your first beardie you will be fine with a baby just go for one that is at least 7" around two months old. Male or female doesn't matter but it is true some females do lay eggs even if they are infertile. I agree I would stay away from silk backs that require extra care...

    Amons losing his buddy

If one is showing dominance it is only going to get worse. They need to be separated. What wattage bulb are you using just get a higher wattage to raise the temp,of the tank heating pads are not used for bearded dragons they do not get heat through their bellies.
