Thank you , and I've double checked the box and it is a 12% UVB that I've got at the moment I just couldn't remember from memory . And yeah the UVB is mounted at the top of the viv which is definitely within the 12-15 inches distance .
Thank you , I've just ordered the new heat lamp and the habistat dimming thermostat to go with it . I've gone for the 50w for now , see how it goes and if I need to go up in watt i can do . I will change it all over as soon as I get it all and see if this makes a difference.
I have an arcadia T5 UVB , I think from memory it's a 10% . And no I do not have the solid white light one , can you suggest a good brand and I will sort out swapping them out asap, I was just looking at the acradia solar basking floodlight , can you advise if this one would be okay and what...
Yes I have a long tube fixture UVB and a ceramic heater (this is what I was advised and sold when I got him) . I have two digital thermostats one on the cool side and one on the heated side and a pulsating thermostat that's monitoring on the hot side to control the temps , the heated side is...
I haven't seen a vet yet , the test was ordered online and they sent me the results via email . So I don't know if to go and see a vet regarding them , I've been advised to use panacure by other people who have had similar results and see if that helps, the guy I got Mushu from is also a breeder...
Yeah my Mushu was a bit strange and inconsistent at first ,sometimes he was fine being picked up and then other times he would squirm and jump away . All just a matter of getting them used to it and taking your time, he may just feel uncomfortable being lifted off the ground because he may feel...
Hey your boy is gorgeous! So I'm no expert by any means and someone may have better advice but from my personal experience, my boy Mushu I got him when he was about 6 months old and was only ever held by the breeder, he was very skittish and didn't enjoy being touched , the guy advised me to...
Is anyone able to offer advice on these these results that I've received for my beardie . Just need to know if vet visit is required. I've read before that moderate pinworm is nothing to be concerned about but I'm not too sure what the other part means on the results about a "scanty Nyctotherus...
Thank you for reaching out to this person. Mushu still has lots of energy , no problem running around and climbing things and there's no weakness or strange gait when he runs. He still had a good appetite for his bugs and greens . If any other symptoms appear then I'll get him checked over but...
Are you in the UK? If so we have just used PALs pinmoore animal lab that you can order online on their website and you can send off fecal tests in the post .
Is it normal for them to do it all the time? He sits like that all the time and even when he's sleeping his mouth is slightly open like that like he just can't close it at all.
I have a 4x2x2 wooden enclosure with a closed top and sliding glass doors at the front . The breeder I bought my dragon off advised me to place the UVB across the back of the tank so it covers around 3/4 of the tank. He is always under the UVB due to where his basking spot is.
So our bearded dragon Mushu has just turned one and in the last month or so we've noticed that he is ever so slightly holding his mouth open a lot as if he can't close it properly and also his mouth seems to be turning white all around it . My concern is , is this an early sign of MBD?
He has...
