    One of those velvet humidify and temp thermometers that come with the starter kits at petsmart. The 75 is the basking spot since that's where the thermometer is set up.

You said she's new so she could just be nervous and shell use the bathroom eventually and when she poops she will hunger and then have to eat.     Hmm, maybe try taking a leaf between your fingers and slowly twirling it infront of her face? It worked for my dragon and now hell eat on his own or from my hand.
