    Beardie Scratching/Digging Floor

Thats quite a few eggs. She may even lay more. You can toss the eggs. Give her some extra water and some extra protein to help replenish her system..egg laying takes a lot out of them.

    Cleaning Question

Have you tried dubia or discoid roaches? I know the roach name puts some people off, but these are NOT cockroaches, not a pest, and dont multiply or get invasive at normal household temps. Small dubias or discoids would be best, not pinheads. Some places where dubias are illegal (like Florida)...

    Cleaning Question

The white is her urates (her pee) and is supposed to be there. They pee like bird, solid white. The pink could just be from supplementation like calcium, vitamins, orange or red foods etc. Or a little straining from a BM. Just keep on eye, if it increases or looks more like blood post back. Also...

    Beardie Scratching/Digging Floor

Beardie females can lay unfertilized eggs if there is no male, a dig box like Sadie suggested is a very good idea for her. 50% play sand and 50% organic topsoil is a safe substrate, moistened like Sadie suggested. The cocopeat can cause issues like resp infection, it is not safe for them even...

    Tank question

The folks on instagram do what they do for clicks and likes, but it is only a few moments snapshot of the dragon's day. Some of the posters are great, know what to do and how to do it. There are others-one guy comes to mind-who does A LOT of unsafe and ill advused things with his dragon. The...

Beardie brumating after eating, has not pooped in a long time!

If he is basking primarily on his ramp, you can temp the ramp surface with your digital probe thermometer and if it is at least 95 to 100 (he is an adult, right?), you can try lowering the uvb light to 12-15 inches above his preferred spot (longer picture wire). But be careful, they like to move...

Beardie brumating after eating, has not pooped in a long time!

Parasites and parasite treatment are tough on them. You can try some probiotics to help him recover faster. You can try some Reptophilus from Bug-de-lite.com. It is a safe formula developed by a vet tech and helps restore the normal gut flora.

    Femoral Pores - HELP!!!

Put a large rock or two in his tank with a rough surface for him to rub them on; dont try to remove them because you can really hurt or injure him.

My beard is really isn’t eating much

The thing with the superworms, the beardies love them sooo much that they start snubbing everything else. So you may have to back off on the supers for a bit. Mine gets supers (3)once or twice a week and about 7 or 8 medium dubias on the bug day in between. You can also give a hornworm once a...

Oh there are other good brands out there but the bulb needs to be a bright white one for beardies.

How do I introduce new foods to my beardie?

Chop them up and mix all together just as if you were making a salad for yourself. I dont feed fruit at all..fruit should be a rare treat if at all..it can contribute to mouth rot and the sugar in it isnt good for them. If she likes the sweetness, you can sprinkle a little bee pollen powder...

Idk whats wrong with my bearded dragon:(

You w You want a plain white basking bulb that provides light too not just heat. Colored bulbs are not good for their eyes. Zoomed provides a good Repti basking bulb in white, for one. This is the one I use, 150 watts but my tank is 4x2x2, so you may need a lower wattage. They come in 125 watts...

Idk whats wrong with my bearded dragon:(

Thats a 40 gallon youre using now? Then your basking piece should be about 4-6 inches high under the uvb, since those 40 gallon starter tanks are 18" high. Make sure you temp it with the probe..adult dragons like a basking temp of 95 to 100, no lower, and babies need it even warmer 105-110 but...

Idk whats wrong with my bearded dragon:(

This is what you want for uvb: Along with the hood (fixture). You can attach your uvb under the screen with 24" heat resistant zipties or thin picture wire. Youll have to widen the holes in your screen with a scredriver if you use the zipties. Here is how I set up mine when I had my previous tank:
