No..12% is the correct uvb for bearded dragon. 6% is for other reptiles, like some snakes. Bearded dragons are desert dwellers...they need 12% to thrive. Yes, the zoomed Reptisun t5 10.0 is the bulb he needs!

    Not Handling Antibiotics Well--Getting Weaker

I looked up Enrofloxacin (that is Baytril) and a very rare side effect of it is seizures and lethargy. Would your vet consider switching his antibiotic to something else on the off chance...?

    Plants

Aloe is ok, I have one in my bioactive tank (my dragon just digs it up repeatedly but doesnt eat it). They are safe to eat, can sometimes cause upset stomach if given too much but he prob wont eat much of it if any, he will prob just use it for fun and shade lol. Nibbling on it wont hurt him.

    Not Handling Antibiotics Well--Getting Weaker

I reread your post and it seems that he only had the 2 doses of Gapapentin and none since? How long ago was that? Reptiles metabolize meds more slowly than people and mammals do, he may still have effects from that in his system.

    Not Handling Antibiotics Well--Getting Weaker

Gabapentin is NOT an antibiotic..it is used as an anticonvulsant (anti-seizure) but also for neuropathy pain. Its effectiveness in those respects is questionable, and it was also classed as a controlled subsrance for some time, although it has since lost that designation. That is I am about 85%...

    Butternut Squash?

My dragon would not touch hornworms a few months ago...maybe one bit him? Maybe he didnt realize it was a worm because of the color? But I reintroduced them a few months later and now he loves them. Strange little picky creatures they are!

    Butternut Squash?

Staple greens would be leafy greens, such as collard greens, mustard greens, kale, dandelion greens, turnip greens, arugula. You can add chopped or grated squashes to the leafy greens, but the butternut squash may give her loose stools if you feed it too frequently. Bell peppers are good...

    Beardie Scratching/Digging Floor

Thats quite a few eggs. She may even lay more. You can toss the eggs. Give her some extra water and some extra protein to help replenish her system..egg laying takes a lot out of them.

    Cleaning Question

Have you tried dubia or discoid roaches? I know the roach name puts some people off, but these are NOT cockroaches, not a pest, and dont multiply or get invasive at normal household temps. Small dubias or discoids would be best, not pinheads. Some places where dubias are illegal (like Florida)...

    Cleaning Question

The white is her urates (her pee) and is supposed to be there. They pee like bird, solid white. The pink could just be from supplementation like calcium, vitamins, orange or red foods etc. Or a little straining from a BM. Just keep on eye, if it increases or looks more like blood post back. Also...

    Beardie Scratching/Digging Floor

Beardie females can lay unfertilized eggs if there is no male, a dig box like Sadie suggested is a very good idea for her. 50% play sand and 50% organic topsoil is a safe substrate, moistened like Sadie suggested. The cocopeat can cause issues like resp infection, it is not safe for them even...

    Tank question

The folks on instagram do what they do for clicks and likes, but it is only a few moments snapshot of the dragon's day. Some of the posters are great, know what to do and how to do it. There are others-one guy comes to mind-who does A LOT of unsafe and ill advused things with his dragon. The...
