    My local reptile guy has something against crickets

    He probably makes more money on superworms on goliath worms. Neither of these is as good a staple as crickets, as long as the crickets are gut-loaded first. If you wanted to try other feeders, phoenix worms and dubia roaches are really good for beardies.

    Responding to name

    I like to say my beardie's full name in a kind of sing-song voice: "Robert-aaa Coop-er!". Every time I do it she kind of stops what she's doing and kind of cocks her head to one side to look at me. I'm not sure if it's because she recognizes her name or just because she thinks I'm an idiot, but...

    Laptop

    My beardies both head straight for the laptop whenever they are out. And once, Angela did poo on it. But it was my boyfriends comp, so I didn't care, I just never told him.
