I have a 5 year old bearded dragon named wiz and today his color is off when he breathes he sounds raspy and he started choking shaking hard and threw up a small brown substance that looks like digested food. His enclosure has correct lighting and Temps. I have no vets that do exotic animals...
Ok so i ordered suggested uvb for lizards and i build a better roof for tanks so uvb is inside tank also got a wood floor looking non adhesive shelf liner for inside there tanks also got crickets for them insted of mealworms and they seem happier. The adult beardie is eating, drinking, climbjng...

Also is silkworms better than mealworms cause ordered silkworm eggs so i can breed them for beardies to eat
Ok i got the t5 in the tank 13 inches above basking rock.
also do u know why my juvenile beardie is running around trying to climb up the glass
and walls
its a fine mesh witch im thinking about replacing with something different cause it blocks out a bit of uvb light.
Also juvenile beardie seems alot more spicy as in he is running around and jump and climb on his log he also is trying to climb up the fake rock tiles on back wall witch i thought...
alright moved uvb light to right spot and im going to order that uvb u suggested
i will update you in about an hour on juvenile also the adult beardie seems to be alot happier already after removing the walnut shells, he has not gone in his hide yet he is sitting next to the glass watching me...
Literally not even an hour after cleaning all the shells out wiz (the 5 year old) just had to move the dang paper towels and did a poo right on the wood floor lol
also removed plastic cover thing off the light and moved the fixtures over more so its more above the basking spot
got the walnut shells switched out with paper towels

his uvb was able to be hung in tank on top

For uvb he has a reptisun 10.0 uvb t5 ho
for heating he has flukers clamp lamp 8.5 in with a 100 watt zoo med repti basking spot lamp
His basking them is around 100 measured with a thermometer about a inch above his rock he basks on
the only time he comes out to bask is after i feed...
So i bought my beardie a new log hide and he never comes out unless i show him mealworm then he comes out. I dont think its a people friendly problem hes not scared of people at all. Any reason why he is hiding so much?
Is stawberries, bananas, and blueberries ok to eat every day? Also what greens should i be feeding my beardie every day? I have a 4 year old beardie and 8 month old
