    My beardie likes going on walks and walking on the sidewalk helps keep his nails at a good length, I recommend taking his/her outside sometimes and letting it run around on the sidewalk (as long as you're sure it won't run away)

    those are called stress spots. They can be caused by a few things, but if you just got him then it's most likely that he's still adjusting to the change in environment and nothings wrong. I'd keep an eye on it though if you're worried.
