I would even check for Amazon on those, Petco and all pet stores are going to always be more expensive. I try just to buy the bare minimum from there anymore. Crickets are the bare minimum. I included an image of what I found just a minute ago on Amazon

A few questions about my (hypothetical) setup

As for the blue light, mine may be purple but the key is that my home doesn’t hold good temps and this emits only heat, NO RAYS! But if ur keeping a good temp u don’t need it, that is 100% true. But I just went on a fact-finding mission, to see if I’m doing it wrong despite my healthy lizard...

I had the same issue with not realizing everything I needed or buying the wrong things. I just went to amazon I think I got 24 for around $20 at the store they are 4 for $9.99. If ur crickets stay alive with that then good for u, I was just failing miserably. Now I lose maybe 5 out of 60-80. My...

A few questions about my (hypothetical) setup

I had the carpet too but I hated the cleanup which is why her current substrate which is not harmful as she won’t eat it accidentally. However now that she is getting older I may move to a sand mix just for a better look. And I am looking for a larger terrarium. Specifically one with the rock...

I don’t bathe her everyday now, but when she was younger and shedding more it was recommended, she seemed to like it, and it helped with shedding. We all are learning from different people. But as long as the bearded dragon is healthy that’s what matters

A few questions about my (hypothetical) setup

The red light is bad. If ur temp in ur house is regulated u can go without blue light. That is what I learned from people who personally have many different species. I can tell u my bearded dragon is very healthy and seems content with that setup. I will include a pic of her hide.

A few questions about my (hypothetical) setup

I would get the right terrarium for the right size bearded dragon. If you’re starting with a juvenile bearded dragon your plans will be too large and really harder to maintain proper temperature. For about $150 at Petco or Petsmart, you can go and buy a full kit with nearly everything you need...

How to get my beardie to try new foods

This was happening to me with my bearded dragon, the best thing that I found to do was to dice up whatever I wanted to give her and put it in extreme moderation into her salad that I made. She would not eat fruit ever, now she loves strawberries on her salad. Squash and those other things as...

Baby dragon not eating very much

I keep my blue light on, as long as it’s blue and not red It’s not bad for your pet. My house has horrible chills because of the bad windows. The way I see it since I get very cold in my house I don’t want to put my bearded dragon through that. And she seems to do very well with the light. It’s...

Congrats on lady! My girl, has been a wonderful addition to our family! The first week that I had her she didn’t eat like she did there after, matter fact she made me feel like I wasn’t feeding her enough because of that. What I learned is they don’t eat as much when they’re in a new space, new...
