Mine used to do it all the time, I'm no expert but I do have 8yrs experience. Beardies 'surf' generally for two reasons:
1 - he is experiencing pure out-of-your-mind type of boredom - I used to have a cat who would have killed him if given the chance, so I couldn't get out of the viv much, but...
I made my little man a window 'seat' and boy does he love it! I put the acrylic on but he's unlikely to jump off or out the window knowing him, puts my mind at rest though...I am yet to see him come down on the mat but I have no doubt he'll be alright...maybe he'll do some yoga poses on his way...
Me too! The ones in the photo are just under 6ft so it wouldn't really be that much bigger than those. The wall is actually 4M long but I had to rein myself in lol
I have an eight year old male beardie called Coorah (we thought he was a girl at first!). We bought him and his sister when they were babies, unfortunately Luna isn't with us anymore. I ended up taking care of him when we split up and Coorah sadly spent most of his life confined to his vivarium...
