He looks happy and very healthy. I'm no expert, but I swear these guys smile when they're happy. Since hes a rescue, I would dust his crickets/roaches/mealworms with calcium just incase he might be deficient. My beardy hates it, so I lean more for salads to keep her healthy.
I inherited this amazing BD from someone who didn't care much for it and we've become the best of friends. I never knew a lizard could be so intelligent (other than LOVING to poop in her water bowl). I feed her a salad in morning and either dubia roaches or king worms at night. Shes very lazy...
My beardie loves climbing screens as well. For some reason even of it's cold she will still climb it. I usually check on her after a few hours and if she feels cold I put her back in her cage... but she goes bonkers trying to get back out. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
