Hello, sorry to say that this looks exactly how my beardie did a while ago. Come to find out, it was a burn from extra sauder on the basking light bulb. The sauder got hot and melted and dropped right on him. We've been battling this for several months. Gave him betadine baths, pit neosporin on...
Ok, but my thing is...what can a vet do to save him? Or do they put beardie to sleep like a normal vet does with cats and dogs? I do not want him to suffer.

My beardie had gotten burned from the sauder from the heat lamp a while ago. I did all the betadine soaks. He seemed to be getting better but he is now not able to use his leg and I believe the infection has taken over. He will not eat and is sleeping all the time. A few days ago, his behavior...
I'd love to get some more ideas on what everyone's beardie eats. I've read mixed opinions about mealworms. However, my beardie loves them. He eats crickets, meal worms and kale. It's hard for him to adjust to other foods. I tried zucchini, squash, strawberries..etc. he refuses to eat what he...

I've been giving him betadine soaks and putting neosporin on his leg and I'm seeing no signs of improvement. He has nothing sharp in his home. He eats well but there are times where he holds his foot weird. I'm sure this will require a vet visit but wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with...
One leg on my beardie is also swollen. We've done the betadine and water soaks but hasn't improved. I'd like to see what others say as well.

So you only have one light for each. When we got ours, they advised us that we need 3 diff lights. A heat lamp, a day lamp and a night one like a black light. No wonder why our electric bill is high [emoji23].
