Tips on how to breed and raise crickets?

Hello! I have tried a few times to breed crickets in order to add more variety to my beardie and my anoles' diets, but I can't seem to keep the adults or babies alive for long. The adults live in a medium sized tub (I can post measurements soon, only 100-200 usually live in there) with plenty...

Tiny, tiny sliver/white insects in my feeder discoid roach colony??

One of my roaches does have shriveled wings that look twisted or compacted at the end. Could it be a deficiency of some sort?

Tiny, tiny sliver/white insects in my feeder discoid roach colony??

Thanks for your input! I really hope they aren't a problem because they are everywhere. I only have dermestid beetles in my colony other than the random sliver insects. Hoping to add superworms soon but everywhere that I usually order from has them out of stock.

Tiny, tiny sliver/white insects in my feeder discoid roach colony??

I was feeding my discoid roaches and I noticed TINY sliver/white insects accumulated on the scraps of food from the last feeding. They're too tiny to take a photo of. I think they are springtails (I never introduced springtails to the colony) but even if they are, do they pose a threat to my...

    My discoid roaches came!

The usual temp is maybe 75-85 during the day here and 72 at night. Don't temps like that just keep them alive but slow down growth?

    My discoid roaches came!

Also, I can confirm that they are very active at night. At least most are. When I flip the light on just to take a quick look, at least 8 are walking around in sight

    My discoid roaches came!

Okay. Thanks a lot. Should I get rid of the heat lamp and move them into a bin? I can probably do that. I just need some help setting up a heat mat. I got them from Joe's bugs : ( Before then, I was looking at Luna's roaches for a colony starter but they were too expensive I thought. Hopefully...

    My discoid roaches came!

Oh. I didn't know that. I don't know how I'd convince my family to let me buy a whole new set of roaches though. Still, thanks for your advice. I'll start looking now.

I do have a bin around the same size of the tank. Should I move them into there?

    My discoid roaches came!

I cut off all natural light. The red light shouldn't bother them much, right? Its made so animals can sleep without being bothered.. One of the nymphs climbed out of the soil I think. Now theres 7 above the soil.

    My discoid roaches came!

Okay. I've seen many people use heat lamps before though. I can cut off all other light for sure but I can't really get a heat mat unless its really necessary

This is a picture of it btw: It's a ten gallon tank but they'll be moving into a twenty gallon when they start growing in numbers
