Usually covering the sides of the tank and the back so they cannot see out helps. They feel more secure. My little ones did that and when I covered the back and sides it helped tremendously.
My hatchlings eat small super worms, they are about the size of mealworms at size small. Have had no issues with them moving their bowels ever and those are hatchlings. So I think it just depends on the size you order. Also if you decide to start a dubia colony it takes quite a few months for it...
Give her a nice soak in the bath that usually helps stimulate a bowel movement. Plus could be dehydrated if you found it on the road which would cause a lack of appetite and lethargy.
When you say gulping, do you mean gulping down his water because that would mean he's probably dehydrated especially if he hasn't had access to clean water. It could have been a long time and he's just thirsty. My dragons swallow frequently during bath time. That's what they do to take in enough...
Also you might try putting a little turkey baby food thinned with water, on plate or something easily accessible. It works great for an appetite stimulator and help give him some protein if he's weak.
As much as I would love to tell you I have no clue, too young to tell. I have not seen it show dominance at all but its hard to be dominant with 10 brothers and sisters everywhere.
