So really just being around where they are and getting them used to you is a good start. Having their cage in a room you spend the most time.
You want to start with brief periods 5-10 minutes or so of handling at a time, gradually extend frequency and length. Try to start with things like...
I have several animals of appropriate age and more on the way! A variety of morphs! All are hand raised and well tempered. I only breed the healthiest animals. I am listed on Morph Market and my website, I do ship nationally in the USA. Always happy to talk Beardies...
I have not heard of it being done, nor would I attempt. The incubation time varies too much. Typically the snake eggs you see like that are ball python eggs about to hatch anyways. They are much larger than bearded dragon eggs as well.
Yea do not turn the eggs. The embryo will attach wherever, that doesnt really matter. Just leave them as best as mama oriented them, they dont get turned in the wild.
How did you confirm the eggs were slugs? Typically takes a solid week to know pretty sure, and even then really best to just incubate until they show signs of being bad.
From the photo you took, that looks male. Not the best angle though. If you get him on a table and bend his tail back at least 90 degrees it will show better and you can be more certain.
Alternatively when they are younger you can use a flashlight, this is the easiest and most certain. Shine...
Perfect, yea it hides it very well. I would get basking surfaces closer to the heat lights still, something that absorbs heat like stone (surface temp 100-110). Currently it looks like they bask in the hammock, it's nice and all but they really need that belly heat. The flooring is fine but...
Yes if you are going bioactive your beardie might eat a few of the clean up crew. They wont hurt, and honestly doubt a beardie would decimate their population.
Spring tails and isopods are essential. Also you really want live plants and time to let the enclosure cycle without the added...
Get a t5 uvb coils can cause health issues.
As for fall I wouldnt personally worry too much about a drop like you are talking about, but maybe a structure for basking would make sense.
Not sure whats going on under the scale, looks like an abcess. The other spot I believe you mentioned between their eyes, thats their "third eye" its a primitive organ that really more detects light and shadows. Most lizards have that.
Looks like scale rot of some form, id suggest a vet if you can. The location of the injury is concerning.
You can also usually get topical stuff at a pet store, but until you knows whats the cause it cant really 100% treat. It could be fungal it could be bacterial. Usually too much humidity...
I have a beardie that will glass surf if she need to go potty, she hates going in her enclosure. Ive gotten to putting her in a warm bath when she does it now just to speed things up. Then right back in she goes.
