    Concerned about MBD

Thank you, I copied my post over to the other forum. I'm not sure about the T8 vs T5, it's the 3rd bulb on this page: http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/solar_glo.php

    Concerned about MBD

My beardie, Cairo, is a little over a year and a half old. I've attached pictures of when I first got her in January 2018, and today - shes beautiful in both of them :) I've also attached a pic of my set up. I tried to be thorough... I read a lot of about beardies all the time, and just...

Im worried about my new baby bearded dragon

As others have mentioned, it is normal for them to stress during relocation, but their bodies are also very fragile and sensitive, so you want to make sure they are getting everything they need. Make sure not to put too many crickets in the tank at once, and do not keep them in overnight. Too...

    Beardie potential health problems

I'll just add... while it may not be anything major, people shouldn't hesitate to bring them in to an exotic veterinarian for an overview. I did this for my first time a couple weeks ago, and after speaking to a vet and having him look at her for 20-30 minutes, it costed me $1. I'm not saying...

    Drogo update 2013

haha yeah I was lucky to capture that embarassing moment :) He's funny, he's also been doing a transfer from his carpet wall to the basking hammock (pic attached). I think he just does it for fun as he can just walk straight up the ramp to get to the same place.

    Drogo update 2013

I know I haven't posted in awhile but just wanted to let everyone know Drogo is still doing great! He's about 1 year old now and I put a new video together: Some funny cute stuff in there :)

    Odd First Superworm Experience

That photo is not from the same time period that I tried the Superworms so it shouldn't be used to evalutate his size. I only tried Superworms the one day and had a negative experience so have since not tried them again. He's still healthy and rockin' crix everyday.

    Sleep Schedule

I distract him by watching tv and eating dinner at night from across the room and also when I'm not even home during the day? Interesting Germ... Also, as I mentioned his routine is USUALLY like clockwork. It's only 1 day a week (if that) that he shows abnormal sleeping patterns. As for me, my...

    Sleep Schedule

as a follow up (same day), he's been sitting on his magnetic rock ledge by his greens for the last 2 hours. So it is now 4pm and he's only gotten about 30min basking time under his UVB and his light is set to turn off in 3 hours. I haven't been home all day so my activities should not be...

    Sleep Schedule

Drogo's UVB/heat lamp is on a timer to be on for 12 hours of the day (7am - 7pm). Usually, when his light turns off, he goes in his cave shortly after to sleep. However, sometimes he has off days where he might sit and watch me in his hammock until I go to bed (around midnight) or he will...

    Odd First Superworm Experience

I know this and that's not a problem. His basking spot is around 115 degrees and all other food has been properly digested. I'll just abort superworms for the time being.

    Odd First Superworm Experience

Thanks for the info. The segments were not large, no. I did watch him when he ate the superworms and he ate them fast, probably not completely chewing them up, but breaking them up enough to be swollowed. Yeah everything being scattered is what concerned me the most. I've never seen Drogo...

    Odd First Superworm Experience

Like I said, he's already eating again so that's good. The "mess" didnt happen until 2 days after scarfing em down so I don't think it was because he ate too fast. If it was vomit, would I see a fluid of some kind? I mainly just saw dry unprocessed segments of the superworms scattered around.
