Phew, that makes me feel much better about Clarice being 632g which is way bigger than the others and she's the youngest. I guess some are just meant to grow big!
If Clarice has found herself a really nice place to sit and watch everything and I try and remove her from that place, she hisses alot. She usually follows it up with a big show of not being comfortable wherever I place her.
Got to agree with Mungi's Buddha- looks like an injury from a fall or something, mine had something similar once upon a time, he'd falled off his bamboo in a head-bobbing rage and his foot was swollen, vet sorted it right out with some meds :-)
Yeah I don't understand the need to put necklaces on a beardie. And I'd always worry about it getting in the way of puffedupbeard or that they'd somehow munch on it. I can see the amusement in a little hat though (been guilty of that over Christmas with mini Santa hats) but really I'd rather...
I still live with family and I have 3 beardies- my big plan (once I leave and have my own home) is IGUANA. My parents accept and can deal with 3 beardies, but they draw the line at big lizard ;-)
I can only base my dragons' needs from what I see and they seem to appreciate the shower when they get in it :-D there's a bit of drinking, then some basking. But one in particular will not be moved from underneath the spray. She loves it. Sometimes when it's time to leave, she'll go all black...
Depends on whether they accept syringe fed water or not- if not then would shower them more often. But usually 2-3 times a week. Sometimes one might get less showers than others and more misting as I have 2 females and a male (one of my females has taken to laying alot of eggs so I try to make...
