    Wood & beardie question

    Hey, I've attached some pretty good pics (the ones that helped me) that show well, the way to determine the sex of your dragon. However; it is harder to tell when they are very young.

    Bearded dragon keeps it mouth open all the time

    This is what I thought too. Are you controlling the temperatures in your beardies environment? Maybe his basking area is too hot.

    Hides

    They are quite the individuals, that's for sure. My beardie has occasionally been in his "hide", but doesn't sleep there. It's still good to provide one, just in case. We should focus on their comfort and well-being, they didn't ask to be in our captivity. ;)

    Where do you keep your beardie?

    Bedroom all the way, I've got "human" children too and they like to touch >:( So, it's Mom & Dad's room where the door stays shut and my reptiles don't get too stressed out. Believe me, my kids would probably stress them to the MAX! LMAO!

    Dragon wont drink Help

    Don't be discouraged. Sometimes my beardie likes to be sprayed down while basking with some warm water from a spray bottle I picked up at the dollar store. Be careful not to get his environment too wet though as having it too humid in there is not good. Best of Luck ;)

    meet me!!!

    Hi, I've had my beardie for 2 goin' on 3 yrs. We think he's a boy and "his" name is blaise. We bought "him" from an in-experienced breeder, but "he" seems to be doing great. Who knows... maybe posting some pics on here will help you help me determine "his" true sex! Great to be on board! ~Liss
