I have mine on the basking side but not directly under the light... I moved it so he's got a little hiding spot under it and between his basking rock. He sleeps in his hammock every night now it just cracks me up. even caught him sleeping like this. [emoji23]
He's cool coloring... I don't know anything about colors but my beardy has a similar pattern and that pattern I was told is called a dunner.....? If they're more prickly....? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Lol
But he's a cute little guy! I love his name. Very clever
Omg I didn't know that either! My fiancé got him to eat a whole bunch of crickets with hemostats(he's a paramedic)... Basically spoon fed him. I've tried this multiple times and he won't take them from me but he sure did from him! [emoji16]. Waiting on the hornworms to come in.

Update ... I've been talking to him and he lets me pet and even cuddled with me on the couch yesterday!
But today I gave him a bath... Wanted to make sure he was getting enough water... He was not happy after wards... He was hissing at me. But he calmed down ate some crickets and allows me to...
It's been 4 years. I've been offering spaghetti squash, turnip greens, hornworms (just one or two), Phoenix worms, carrots, juvenile beardie food, and calcium dusted crickets. And yes I got your link on the food thank you!
I keep offering him different stuff and trying to change it up but...
So just time...? Do I just leave him be for a while more or still pick him up occasionally...? I'm really at a loss my first dragon was old and did whatever. Now I've only picked him up twice in the past two days one was to clean his cage because he had gotten water everywhere! Lol and the other...
