    Bearded Dragon health concern

Uvb bulb is like 2.5 months old. Hood is the same age. She ate a little then went back into hiding again. I felt all around her for eggs and I just can’t feel anything that would resemble them. Now I saw the poop I feel like she is just being lazy. Still gonna monitor everything but sorry if I...

But since warming the tank it seems like she got some more energy to come out don’t know how long this is going to last but it’s always I good sign to see a little activity I guess. Maybe I spoke too soon but at least I know for a fact it...

    Bearded Dragon health concern

You advised me a while back. Got her the hood light you mentioned a few months ago. Don’t remember the exact name but it (Was exactly what you recommended) . For basking lamps I have 2 in the tank to increase temps and provide two spots to bask. If my temperatures are not an issue (Which they...

    Bearded Dragon health concern

Before I start going in depth in this post I want to say that I understand most of these signs point towards brumation but I am still worried nonetheless as my bearded dragon is only about 10 months old. About 4 days ago my bearded dragon began to stop basking and decided to shove herself into...

Just looking for a little insight on the size of my beardie

The only dubias I can have shipped to me are about 25 cents cheapest per medium about 22 per small. When looking at crickets being about 7 cents per it is much more affordable. At this point I think id rather just invest in starting up a colony like you mentioned

    Loose substrate???

My bearded dragon is bowl fed for his live food and greens. I want to stay away from sand but I also don’t want to commit to a reptile carpet. What is the name of the substrate you are using and how much humidity does it bring to the tank?

Just looking for a little insight on the size of my beardie

Thanks for the response. Mine seems to be shedding every 10-14 days or so if you were curious on that. I have noticed a lot of feedback on Dubias in the community, As they are way too expensive for me to buy far north I think I have no choice but to start a colony. My beardie sucks them up like...

Just looking for a little insight on the size of my beardie

okay I’ll cut back on the mealworms and only use them for snacks. The heat pad is on the old tank so I will not install them. She doesnt need them as we keep the house around 65-70. My bulbs are good besides the uvb coil which I ordered, coming in 2 days but I do have a mercury bulb that can...

Just looking for a little insight on the size of my beardie

Hey Sadie I ordered the zoomed 22” hood and the light you mentioned. Now the only possible concern I have right now is that my bearded dragon eats all their meals on Schedule but tends to hide out for about an hour or so under their hide after the meals. I seem to be able to entice her out with...
