I want to once again thank everyone for all of the thoughts, well wishes and prayers for Mungi during his recent illness. Believe me when I say that they were all felt and worked like real magic!!

Mungi is definitely back and ready for his live-streaming webcam to be fired up so he can do his cam-hammin' for his friends once again!!

He's definitely energetic again, has his "attitude" back and literally eating his veggies like they are going out of style. We have started a large colony and changed over to feeding Dubia roaches also and he is still trying to figure those out...lol...he loves them but I think still a bit confused as to why they don't hop around like his crickets always did. As of today he is back up to 398 grams so he has gained back over a hundred grams of weight since the day we took him in to the vet. His enclosure has had some changes as well with a new basking area and slate tile which we converted back to when we changed to feeding the roaches as they were burrowing down into the sand faster than he could catch them. He appears to be liking his new stuff and has not show any signs of stress at all from the change so we are for sure happy about that!
All in all he has been a true testament to just how resilient these dragons are because he was in extremely bad shape from the infection and the medicine to treat drug him down even further but he fought through it and is now bouncing back faster by the day!!

Mungi's LIVE streaming webcam is back on and he was apparently exited about it as he was awake before his lights turned on this morning and sitting on his perch looking at the cam when I walked in to turn it on for him at 7am..lol It amazes me that he is so very aware of that cam at all times and likes it so much...I have added that purchase in the "Money Well Spent" column!!

This Is to cool!!! I don't wanna be a thief but I might have to steal this idea...it sure would be nice to be able to check in on Pablo from time to time when I'm at work. I tried to check out the live fee just a minute ago and it said offline, maybe it's this dang iPhone seems like it never does what I want it to do! I'll try again in a bit can't wait to see your setup live! Hope it will work for me soon.

@Bk7 Thanks!! That is how Mungi's Live feed began as just a way that we could check on him. We started out with a rather poor wifi but when we decided to do his page and share the feed we went ahead and invested in a really nice Logitech cam with a bunch of bells and whistles and more importantly the fastest internet connection available in the area. We have other cams on some of our other creatures but they are mostly just ones for use to keep tabs on them when we are out. We do have another one that we share on the web and that it for one of our Beta tanks. There is a link on Mungi's site to that cam. It's the one that says NippyCam.
All you need is a webcam and connection to do it. The software that we use is free and easy to setup. Just Google Yawcam. You can set it up so that only you can view it like an IP cam or you can do like we do and go thru NoIP on the web and set up a an actual site to share with everyone.
Not sure why you got the Offline msg. I can tell you that when Mungi's stream is broadcasting their is a 10 minute viewing limit. If you reach the limit just hit Refresh on your browser and it will continue. That's probably what happened instead of it being your phone although I'm a pure Android person so it very well may have been that subpar IPhone thing of yours after all..LOLOLOL His cam is LIVE 7am - 7pm eastern time everyday though

It's free and a lotta fun...he is very aware most times when someone tunes in and will a lot of times come over to look at the cam or if he is comfy basking and feeling lazy for example will usually at least look over his shoulder when you log on..lol

@Mungi's Buddha LMAO... You might be right about my phone! Seems like every day it's something else with this thing. Might be getting into android myself. Haha

But I did get to check out Mungi's cam today and it is pretty cool. A wireless ip cam is definitely the next thing on my list of things to get, AFTER I build a bigger enclosure for Pablo of course.

@PatB...lol...Mungi was in an odd cantankerous mood today...not sure what got into him but didn't want to be messed with. I tried to pick him up to take him for his bath and he actually jumped away from me and ran around his enclosure not wanting to be picked up. Went to give him his dose of soy yogurt and the lil bugger snatched the syringe out of my fingers and tried to take off with it...then he dropped it and looked at me like "Go ahead...Pick it up...Make my day,Punk" Course I did and he ate his soy yogurt then. When it was bedtime I went in to check him and his was not on his normal sleep spot on his dining platform but sprawled out on the oppsite end of his house under his bridge...smh..Just goes to prove we all have odd days..lol..but tomorrow is a new one...Thinkin he might be fixing to shed too...hasn't done that in months so perhaps that was the bug in his bonnet today too...Gott love dragons!!

Hopefully he will be better mannered next time you visit!
