Bad camera angle to judge weight, but maybe could use a few extra grams. Make sure he has the right lights and they're new enough. Wax worms and roaches can help with weight

Loose substrate is never recommended. It's ingested too often since they like tasting their environment. Eco earth also gets them very dirty and I've seen it get stuck in their butt after they poop. And if you let it dry out they end up breathing it in.

My vet likes Mazuri pellets. Just moisten them a bit till he's used to them. I always have the pellets in there and I'll throw fresh stuff in when I can. Due to work sometimes I'm never home long enough or when they're awake for them to eat. But I have happy, healthy lizards

We did care credit for her last surgery. Other animals have racked up that bill so we need to pay it down before we ask for a credit limit raise. Care credit is a lifesaver though

People have already said no, but just another reason: when we have varying sizes in beardies in the store the bigger ones which are only slightly bigger have tried to eat the smaller ones. It happens whenever we have a lizard that gets a growth spurt before we have an open tank
