So I get a message from my friend Mike (who's watching Mo) and he tells me that he woke up this morning to an enclosure full of eggs. He's got an entire guest house full of enclosures so I asked which one and he's like "Your boy is a girl!" I'm so shocked but excited! I know the eggs aren't fertile but still it's pretty cool! Just thought I'd share.

Rhinos can't be sexed until they are about 2 years old so I never knew for sure. Mo had jowls and a large crown on the top of the head which is typical of males. Mo also headbobbed which is typical of dominant males. This is a complete surprise to me but I'm still happy either way. No future male Brian lol I would need a whole house for those

It always amazes me when Sam lays her eggs, too. I mean, there's no way I'd ever guess she'd have 22 to 28 of them in her. Just doesn't look like there's enough room.
