Where do I need to put his snap heating pad. Did he need his light and pad always?

Heating pads are not good for dragons- dragons heat from their backs- heat pads are good for burning the dragon- if you need heat in the tank please get a ceramic heat emitter - you don't need it if your tank is 65-75 ambient temps at night
