Setting up the terrarium.
The temperature and humidity right now sit at 76.4*F and 99%
Perfect conditions for my new friend to grow and thrive.

There are tons of plants, nooks, and crannies for him to crawl into and enjoy.

I told my boyfriend he could name the gecko.

So I'd like to welcome to the forum

Hahaha, I'm not offended!
I agree he's sort of "ugly", but I just think he's so imperfect that he's perfect.
He's such an amazing gecko, I couldn't have asked for more. I cannot wait for the many years to come with this fellow, and possibly adding some friends to his home!

I have seen come lighter, some darker.
He is very dark though. Dark brown, not quite black but getting there.
I wonder if his colour will change at all as he grows.

He's very cool! Yes, "ugly-cute" which is adorable! He's such a unique looking reptile, gotta love that! His new home is pretty awesome too! You did a fantastic job setting him up! It's great that he seems so mellow and handleable, I've never kept geckos, but I've heard that certain species are stinkers when it comes to handling. Keep showing us pics!

He's a very, very nice gecko!
I can't handle him for too long because he jumps everywhere! Like a little frog! And he's soooo tiny, slippery, and dark I'm scared that if I ever dropped him I'd lose him forever! Haha. But as long as I remain still he does too.
Hopefully more pictures tomorrow :)
Thanks for the great compliments.

WOW I've never seen one of these guys before, very interesting looking specimen. It has such specialised camouflage adaptation, bet they'd be impossible to spot in the wild.
