Stupid Branch

Alright, so I had this neat branch I had purchased at a pet store for my terrarium. It must be kept between 60 - 77 degrees at all times with 80% - 100% humidity.
I put it in Friday.
It's Tuesday, and the entire thing is coated with all sorts of mold. It's disgusting, really.
I have put it into the sink to bleach. I'm pretty angry.

Anyway, I'm going to ditch it, but I really feel the need to replacement so my gecko has somewhere to climb and hangout.
Suggestions??

would rope vine work? i see it in petstores all the time though i have never used it.

i also use the bendable vines and it works well with high humidity (mine is around 50 to 77% depending)
