i have been lurking for a while on this forum deciding whether to join or not and i have only joined now to comment on this particular thread WOW! a forum that allows users to spam what an aweful and useless waste of space and of my time just checking it out and advocated by the Administrator yet i seem to remember reading that spam was not tolerated or allowed or something like that on this forum can't remember where I found the forum rules now though. so what's up with that.

Well, this isn't technically spam. Spam is advertisements. Off topic chit-chat threads are fine. He's posting in his own thread and not bothering others or making nonsense replies to other threads. 
Thanks for joining our community! You'll find I'm less about the rules and more about people helping each other with their dragons and feeling like BDF is a home for them online. Too many rules makes things too rigid and uptight!
