Our female is pregnant. We are unsure how far along she is, as we've only had her a week and a half, but she was housed with other males at the reptile store. I can see the grape-like dimples in her belly and she's been digging. we've put a lay-box in her terrarium and removed our male. How will I know when she's ready to lay?

She has been digging, a lot. All day yesterday, part of the day before and already a lot today. What's a tote? We're using coco-husk in a plastic storage container.

A plastic storage container is what I call a tote:)
What do you have in it is it damp so that she can dig and make a tunnel I keep ours around 8 inches deep.

Coco-husk. It starts out like a brick of dirt, but you add water, it expands and fluffs up.
