Hi Lizzy please get rid of the red bulb--- they are no good-- they cause long term eye damage--- and disrupt their sleep- you need a bright white basking bulb and a long tube fixture UVB No coils please--- if you have questions or need more help please ask

Sorry-- what are you using for your UVB? Depending on the bulb and screen will depend on
75watt basking and the UVB lights are T8 and built right into the cover so no screen, Although one bulb stopped working on one side so do use a 50watt Uvb bulb as well

Ok your basking decor should be 6-8 inches directly below- T 8's are not as strong for distance- what is a 50 watt UVB ? Is that a coil?
