I just picked up my first Bearded Dragon on 08/18/12. bought him from the local Petsmart.

before each feeding i do the shaking of the hiding places.
read that helpful hint on this site.
but he normally gets them all

Before lights out would be a good plan also, so they don't come out bother & feed on your BD at night. ;)
