How can I diversify my beardie's diet?

My beardie absolutely loves kale and sort of likes squash, but I've tried a myriad of other beardie-friendly veggies and he won't touch them! I've even tried mixing in a worm or two to encourage him to eat it, but the little stinker just picks out what he wants and leaves the rest. How can I get him to try new foods?? He has a great appetite, he just doesn't seem to like change much haha

Try not to give him kale. It's can bind calcium it's like spinach you can feed it just don't make it the main part of his diet just give it a little bit try collar greens mustard greens dandelions

Mix your greens well and give smaller amounts of kale so when he goes for the kale he gets something else instead. Try mixing in something that might look like kale like mustard greens or curly endive.

Just remember they will not starve themselves so sometimes you gotta do some tough love on them lol

My dragon loves kale too, but since it's no good for her I try to limit it as much as possible. I am having trouble finding the staple greens on that list though. Living in Norway means we have a limited variety of greens, the only ones I can get is butternut squash and dandilion greens, so she lives mostly on arugula and mixed salad bags, with butternut or carrot in it.

USA terms are different. I will see if I can find terms for you

I have the same problem in the UK, at least as far as finding staples goes. I found one supermarket that sells collared ,or spring greens as we call them here, as the name suggests they are seasonal here so its going to be fun finding a replacement when they go. I have yet to find any endive, but I keep looking as that is supposed to be a beardie fave.
I would not use the mixed salad bags at all, most of those have lettuce in them which is not a good food for beardies.

I mostly use dandylion greens in the summer and fall, The salad bags here have no lettuce in them, they have a couple of the staples, a couple decent greens and spinach which I pick out,

I always feel bad when I can only find one staple. I feel like they get bored eating the same thing week after week but I guess they don't. It's just me putting human emotions on them LOL!

Lizz is doing just fine with her diet, she attacks the butternut, not as much as corn, but then again she loves sweets.

Mine only wants to eat sweet potato now. So I literally only give her a sliver, to get her to go to her bowl, she throws her salad around to find all the ONE sweet potato, and is done. Then gives me shifty eye.
Tough love. She WILL eat those greens!
