home remedies for fleas?

Was wondering if anyone knew any home remedies for fleas. I have an older cat that is very sensitive to flea products but he has fleas and i need to get rid of them

Dawn dish washing detergent for the sink will stun the fleas... But depending on the age of the cat, perhaps you should check with your vet... Keeping temps in the house around the 70's prevents eggs from hatching...constant vacuuming all fabrics will remove the adults.

brewers yeast and garlic helps that too. Will also aid in healing the skin after the Dawn bath.
