My dragon sometimes flips his fingers under his hand.... Not all the time but enough that i notice. He gets calcium every other day and has a t5 uvb light. When i first got him he had an older t8 fixture that had been used for 3 months previously and i didn't give supplements as often (twice a week) but I've only had him for 6 weeks.
