Finally got good pics of my leo

He finally came out of hiding long enough today for me to scoop him up for a little bit. After actually seeing his beautiful color I think i'm changing his name to Cheeto. The orange on his tail remind me of my fingers after eating cheetos lol

i would really like to redo cheeto's viv but i need ideas. i'm really at a loss when it comes to setting up his viv so it looks good. right now it's kinda boring just a bunch of hides and a water dish. here's now

any ideas would be great

mmmmmmmmmm cheetos.
Start with a background around the back and sides of the tank.
Im not a gecko person, but I would find a diff substrate.

I used an aquarium background with a desert vista... and use rock covered hides...And ceramics...

i have a bunch of bricks. are they ok to use? (sanatized of course). Janie what substrate do you use for your leos?

Bricks are fine... bake em... and I use... Tile ...
I do provide the damp hides with organic ( also baked) soil.

ok it's a start. this is only his temp viv until i build YoYo's then Cheeto will be moving into YoYo 36 in viv. That's when he will be on tile

yea the pet store has been out of the blacklight bulbs and i can't find one with high enuf wattage.
