I have decided to get a new bearded dragon after Milo passed . I now have Enzo who's full of energy and makes me very happy. I have noticed that his front claws do something weird. I have also attached a picture, is this normal? All I can think of is that the food dish is slippery and this why that happens. Any advice will be appreciated, I want to make sure he's ok and well taken care of. I attached a full picture of him just because.

Hello, I'm kind new to the whole beardie thing, but I've been studying them for a little while, I'm sure he's fine, but this has never happened to my beardie, but I know a lot of beardies have been poorly bred, so this issue could be a bone disorder and you might want to get it checked out soon to see if it can be helped or cured or if there's even a problem.

Does he walk like this all the time or is it just in the food dish? By the way what is he eating?

Does he always do this, or only when feeding from the dish? Also, what is your lighting and uvb setup?

I'm going to take him to the vet again. I already took him and they said he was fine. I feel like he's getting worse.

I thought it was only in the food dish. But I've been noticing it more. The first time was July 15th, I called the emergency vet that night and they didn't have a reptile vet. So I took him the next morning and they said he was fine. On July 15th I had him out of the tank on the carpet. I feel like I've been noticing it a lot more lately and today when I got home I feel like it was worse. He eats dubia roaches dusted in calcium or vitamins. Also collard greens and mustard greens. Sometimes carrots and red pepper. Second picture is when I got home today.

Mostly in the food dish but it seems to be getting worse. The small tank is his travel tank. I had to go see my parents. So I got him that one. And the big tank is his regular tank. I have tw o basking light bulbs and the UVB. The picture of him is when I got home today.

Your UVB is not obstructed correct? --- I see hes trying to get to that UVB --- take the plastic cover off the fixture if there is one --- bulb needs to be exposed -- basking decor needs to be directly underneath the UVB approx 6-8 inches -- but you must get your UVB situated -- so get some decor piece thats high enough 6-8 inches
