So my beardie just had a good formed poo with straight liquid urate. Can beardies get overhydrated? I've been feeding him lots of crickets and bell peppers recently. And yes, I know that, that poop is very small. He already pooped today.

The bell pepper is probably a factor for his diahrrhea, you might want to cut back on that a bit. Yes, overhydration is possible and typically occurs when a beardie gets too much of a watery food-hornworms and fruits are common culprits. Make sure he is not getting watery veggies and fruits often.

I would also like some of you with experience to comment. I too worry about overhydrating. Thanks!

Any extra water is usually pooped out and may come out as water-- but you need to limit the fruits as they can cause diarrhea - here is a website for nutrition ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder
