We just got our son a baby bearded dragon. We have a 55 gallon tank with powersun uvb. Basking spot runs about 105 and cool side is 75-80. We've just had Voldemort for a couple days. He was born in Dec and is about 5.5 inches and weighs 8grams. He is tiny. The self claimed herp we got him from said she fed him wax worms every 3 days and veggies once a week. We have only been unable to get him to eat a wax worm if we hold it over his head. We've offered diced mustard greens, but so far isn't interested. know he's new and getting used to us. Every site i read says something different. Not sure on the whole water situation. He has a small bowl. Do we need to soak him, or just spriitz him. How often and what should we be feeding him.

Welcome to the forum!! And welcome to the world of Beardies :) they are great creatures!
I am not as familiar with the powersun bulbs, I know that they are good ones if used correctly, however others here are so they should be chiming in on that part. Would love some pictures of Voldemort and his/her home :) Sounds adorable! I love when they are that little they grow quickly.
It is common for them to go into what we call relocation stress, that could take a few days to a week...Babies should be fed 3x a day, silkworms, dubia roaches, superworms, waxworms, hornworms, butterworms, phoenix worms are all good for different reasons and situations. don't be alarmed if he doesn't eat the veggies/greens as right now they need more protein than greens they are 80% bugs 20% greens then as they transition to adulthood that can change to 80% veggies 20% bugs. However not all dragons like their greens :) so feeding your feeders the same greens is important so they get some of the nutrition that way.. Offering a variety of foods is advised as they can get picky at times.
Handling them is important but you may want to let him settle a bit and when you do start they can be really fast so at first touch/hold him while in the tank and work your way out into hand... be careful not to grab the tail as it can break off and unlike other lizards theirs does not grow back..
Having the water dish is ok as long as it doesn't raise the humidity too much, they also don't often recognize standing water as something they can drink...you can do baths in sinks/tub warm water like you would bathe a child up to the elbows...

We've put together some information you'll find the links under several of our signature lines...this has food item links as well..
