He’s been getting around just fine, I don’t know exactly how long it’s been swollen because I just noticed it recently but he’s just as active as he’s always been
his toe looks inflamed, I’ve soaked him everyday for the last week and it doesn’t seem to be loosening up any skin. I’m not sure if maybe he snagged his nail and it could have caused this or if it’s shed cutting off circulation. Other foot pictured for comparison. Thanks!
I spend a decent amount of time working at home, so Terry-D also gets to spend a lot of time outside of his tank as well, but I was wondering if theres anything to make sure that bearded dragons are being stimulated properly and he's not growing bored with his surroundings. If hes not inside his...
My bearded dragon, about 10 months old, has drastically slowed down his eating in the past 3 weeks. He doesnt appear to be losing any weight, but he has not had a full shed since the summer as well, only shedding his head (not even all the way, just partially usually). He is still very active...
I even try to pick up one worm and one roach in the tweezers to try and disguise it, but he turns his nose up or will aim to just take the worm from them. smart guy hahaha. I was thinking about skipping a day of feeding to try and get him more excited for any food but he's young and i feel bad...
My 5-6 m/o beardie has began refusing dubia roaches entirely. He'll eat a couple in the morning if he's really hungry, but will only eat enough to keep him going and only shows real interest in phoenix worms and superworms. I was thinking on switching over to worms entirely, but he was eating...
got the new lamp, one without a dimmer because i realized that cermanic bulbs cannot be dimmed, but the temps are all in order. 100 on basking, 85 on the cool side and 80 under the log. the only thing i had to change was lowering the hammock closer to the bottom of the enclosure so he cant climb...
I picked up a bulb but its too long for the lamp i have, gonna trade it out today for one with a clamp and dimmer, that should help with the intensity of the heat right? Right when i put the bulb in it was so hot immediately it did kinda worry me that its going to be too hot in his tank. The...
what about the mercury bulb? i dont want to go out and buy a whole new fixture, added onto that im taking finals and leaving for a week long trip in another week and im worried if i dont get all the temps right in time id have to leave him with faulty lighting. Would the mercury bulb provide...
Uv bulb typically in the back dome and the heat in the front dome. (He will be moved into a larger tank this summer) the eye that seems to be bothering him is the one further from the lights, but hes not always in this position, usually directly under the dome
My bearded dragon has been keeping one eye closed a lot over the past week. ive been trying to determine between stuck shed or an infection, but i dont think that its either of those. I used a reptisun 10.0, and ive realized that when i bring him out of his tank, the problem almost completely...
My ~4-5 month old bearded dragon has has a piece of shed stuck between their eyes for a little over a month now. Ive been hesitant to mess with it because its not in a spot that could constrict blood flow and have been applying zoo med shed aid and bathing regularly to try and get it to come off...
