I have now bought 2 light fixtures in the five months I've had my dragon, but I think it's the light bulbs, every time my heat bulb burns out, the glass comes out easy, bit then the bottom metal gets stuck and ruins the lamp, anyone else have experience with this, any ideas of how to get it out, I've tried both zoo-med and thrive bulbs, same thing with both.

What bulbs are you using in that double dome? UVB? a coil? If so get rid of it please--- next the basking bulb is what wattage and what is the wattage on that double dome? I would get rid of the double dome go to single domes -- I just ordered a thrive single dome today for a wattage of 100 -- I have never used Thrive so this is going to be a trial and error thing I normally use Flukers domes -- what is the brand of the double dome your using? It could be the wattage is too much for the dome -- it could be the plug in its a narrow down the cause issue -- but I would just ditch the double dome all together --- and if your using a coil in that dome it that needs to go all together - the coil UVB's are no good and produce little to no UVB at all causing all kinds of health issues--- please get this for a UVB they are one of the best on the market at this time
