What and How Often?

Hi!

I know this may seem like a simple question for you but as someone who is getting a bearded dragon soon I'd like some opinions other then what I have been told by the other owner.

So my question is for a full grown adult bearded dragon female how much should I give salads and other veggies, and how often should I be feeding superworms/dubia roaches?

Do you leave left over lettuce in for a few hours or take it out in 24 hours? How do I encourage salad eating?

Thanks!
Alyssa

I give salads every day. Healthy greens like collards, turnip greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens. I try to mix it up and do two different ones each week. I leave the salads in all day and change them in the morning. I have one female that refuses to eat it on her own no matter what I do. I have to slip a green into her mouth while she chewing a worm. My other two will eat theirs and will go crazy for it it has bee pollen sprinkled on it.

Dubia are are a great feeder, just be careful with the super worms. Supers are fatty and eating too many could cause fatty liver disease. I used to do supers at our main feeder and now I have 2 dragons that are on diets because they got pretty big on them.
