Uvb Question

Hi all new here im struggling to decide on the right uvb, im torn between 2 types and would like any suggestions, i visited the arcadia site whewe there is a useful uvb distance link below to web page i seen,

im torn between the t5 12% d3+ desert and the uv flood 12% uv-b d3+ desert,

i have a 40 gallon tank with a large mesh top sp beleive it will be ok sitting on the top,

i would apperciate any suggestions,

the screen needs to be a wide hole type for it to be on top of screen other wise it needs to go inside the tank -- the screen blocks 30% of the rays and I would go w/ the Arcadia 12% D3 -- I use those and they are good bulbs -- not sure about that flood one -- I dont know of anyone using them at this time
